Solar eclipse starts at 6:15 pm BST so if you want to see it from the start arrive about 6 o'clock.
Maximum will be about 7:15 pm when Sun will be obscured by over 80 % and will be at approximately 9 degs. altitude, so still above the trees. End of Eclipse will be after 8:00 pm but by that time below our horizon.
It is also the night of Perseid Meteor shower Maximum, and we propose to stay on into dusk to spot any early meteors.
Drinks and food will be available from The Hotel.
